The spa is an object that will add value to your home. It is therefore important to choose a spa design that will fit the style of your home. To do this you have to be interested in the shape of the basin, its dimensions to its type of installation and the materials that cover it. If you can't find the ideal spa in the standard models, it is possible to have a customized spa.
The different models of spas, according to their types, the materials or poses
There are four types of jacuzzi tubs:
- The built-in spa. It can be semi-buried or buried, but it is not movable once it has been laid. It will require a larger initial investment, in the order of several thousand dollars. But it will give extra value to the house. It can also be built to measure, to suit the needs of users.
- The portable spa. It can be installed anywhere, but it requires a water inlet, an electrical outlet with an independent circuit breaker and it must be placed on a flat area and able to withstand a weight of about two tons. It has otherwise similar features to the recessed spa, but it is less expensive.
- The swim spa. It is longer than a normal spa with a size of 4 to 5 meters long. It will allow to swim against a current created by jets. It costs the same price as a built-in pool. It will be appreciated by swimmers, athletes or people doing rehabilitation.
- The inflatable spa. It is very easy and quick to assemble, it takes about 30 minutes to inflate, fill and plug. It has some of the characteristics of the traditional spa, and it is less efficient and less time-resistant. This is why it is cheaper than other types of spa.
